MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) A Rogue River man was arrested on suspicion of murdering his 7-month-old son.
Ernest Harold Baker III, 20, was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on a murder charge, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Winters said.
Deputies were called to a report of a child injured in an assault Saturday. The baby had suffered a severe laceration to his neck and had been rushed to Rogue Valley Medical Center by the time deputies arrived.
