The body was a young woman between 18 and 29 years old, authorities said. Her identity was not known but officials did say the woman has several distinct tattoos.
One tattoo has two teardrops while a second one has the word 'bones.' The third tattoo has the word 'seminole' while the fourth has 'C-Bear.'
Officials say the woman is 5-foot-8 inches tall with black wavy hair and blue eyes. Her age is estimated between 18 and 30 years old.
Police made the discovery Saturday evening in a creek bed on the east side of the Bear Creek Bridge.
Investigators didn't see any obvious signs of what killed her, police said. She has been transported to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office.
Authorities said they did not have any witnesses.
