Angie Dodge Murder 11 Years Later
Updated: June 13, 2007 04:47 PM PDT
Eleven years ago this week, on June 13th, 1996, the body of Angie Dodge was found inside her Idaho Falls home, brutally murdered.
Her case is still not fully solved, but her family, friends and police hope someday it will be.
Idaho Falls Police say they still look at any information that comes in and follow up on any leads.
Christopher Tapp is serving 25 to life for Angie's murder, but police say they know at least one other person was involved, maybe two. They have one suspect's DNA found on Angie's body.
Detectives have sent off over 50 DNA samples of people of interest over the years, but so far no matches.
That DNA is now part of a national database and if that person is ever caught and his DNA taken, Idaho Falls Police will be notified.
If you can help solve this case, call Crime Stoppers at 208-522-1983. Your tip can be anonymous.
